Self Evaluation: Plastics Use

Blessings Darlings!

I use Earth Day as a time of evaluation and vow taking.  Two years ago my vow was about reducing my use of plastics. Evaluation (a few days before(…)

Nuada Airgetlamh

Nuada was the king of the Tuatha de Danann when they first came to Ireland; in the Lebor Gabala Erenn it is said that he ruled for 7 years before the Tuatha De came to Ireland, was displaced when he lost an arm in battle, and then ruled a further 20 years after(…)

Slip Me Some Spice

Blessings Darlings!

My Mother, bless her heart, was never an inspired cook.  She was constrained by the times she was born into (born during WWI, teen during the Depression, young adult during WWII rationing) and the challenges of kashrut.  Salt, pepper,(…)

Review: The Hunger Games Trilogy

Blessings Darlings!

[Obligatory notice – I paid for books 2 and 3.  My Spawn bought book 1. No publisher provided free books for this review, dammit]

Conversations from the glen

Necromancer’s Runes or Spirit Bones

Hmm, as The Fates would have it, the number is decidedly 11 instead of 13, for it has special meaning in the roots of hoodoo and in my spirit work. The holly is…

Reflect

I have such a lovely butt. Even though I’m not at my target weight, I am quite enamored of my ass. The full length mirror shows it well, along with the accompanying fullness of thighs. I like that too. Thunder-thighs? Yea. Jiggly, meaty, and several handfuls of fierce fire. The better to stomp some idiot that assumes because I’m big, I’m desperate.
