Updated: “About Keri”

Updated the “About Keri” page. Really gave it a lot of thought based not only on how I perceive myself, but how I am perceived by others. Gone are the attempts to tell you what I am not. Instead, I just tell you what I am. For now, that is. “About Keri“

Three Choices

Where Keri is offered “Three Choices” in a dream, for how to move on with her life from here.

“So. I hear you really fucked things up.” I open my eyes to see a glass set before me, slowly being filled with a strong scented liquor. “Your lackadaisical attitude finally roasted your ass this time.” He continued speaking as he filled a second glass and placed it beside the first.

Wealth

(This post written for Sunday Scribblings #315: “Wealth”.)

When their yelling didn’t rouse her, they roughly pushed and shook her. She flailed to keep her balance as she awoke in mid-tilt. To no avail as the youths only pulled her harshly forward. They laughed as she fell on the remnants of her lunch.

The Presentation

It was a lazy weekend. No chores to do. Nothing pressing to attend to. We would normally be in pajamas, but today I dressed for work. Dter teased me about this. That I was such a businesswoman, I don’t allow myself to relax. Red blouse, black knee-length skirt. I had even donned my jewelry and brushed my hair. I smiled and laughed, but felt an instinctual pull. However, to make her feel better, I did start to remove the jewelry.
